While attending a University of South Florida v. Illinois Football game in 2018 at Chicago’s Soldier Field there was a charity event going on called K-9’s for Cops. Scattered around the city were a number of K-9’s decorated by local artists.
These dogs were sponsored by various organizations then auctioned off to raise funds for fallen and injured Chicago Police officers. When we learned that the dogs were being auctioned off, we decided that we had to have one at our office to show our ongoing support for law enforcement.
We were lucky enough to win “Code Red” and had him shipped to Florida from Chicago. He was installed for several years on the front steps of our St. Pete office and when we relocated to Largo in 2021 he came with us and is now in a place of distinction overlooking our office from above. Code Red is a symbol of our continued support to the law enforcement community.
